The Top Constructions Quality Assurance Builder Standards provide, for the first time ever, new homebuyers and remodeling customers a way to measure their builder and the project against an industry approved set of standards.
These Standards have been developed as a service to new home consumers and remodeling customers.
These Standards create a series of performance standards that builders and customers can use to communicate and understand each other's expectations regarding building/remodeling projects.
The Standards address the most prevalent issues that arise between the builder and the customer before the project, during the project, and, most importantly, after the project is completed. All too often it is the unrealized or undiscovered expectations that create the majority of the problems encountered in the building/remodeling process. The Standards will help eliminate these problems before the project even begins.
The Top Constructions Quality Assurance Builder Standards provide you with the confidence that professionals in the industry are handling your project.
Our Quality assurance Team confirm the following terms of quality in the beginning and finishing stage of each project delivery.
• Concise, easily understood Builder’s Agreement - Have you ever felt like you needed an attorney to understand and interpret a Builder’s Agreement? Ours is written in lay terms and is complete with total cost figures and easily understood allowances for items like carpet, cabinets and lighting fixtures
• Weekly consultations during construction - We want you to be up to speed at all times on how your home is progressing. At least once a week during the process we will meet with you or talk to you by phone to discuss the flow of work that is taking place. We are also available at any time to discuss any questions you may have. This is your home and we want you in the loop.
• Pre closing walk-thru/punch list - A week or so before we close and you move in, we will walk through your home with you and you can point out little things that you’ve noticed and that we may have missed. We will do our best to satisfy any of your concerns before you move in.
• 30-day punch list - After you have been in the house for a few weeks, you’ve had a chance to test everything and to discover some paint scratches from the move, etc. that need to be “fixed.” We will meet with you after 30 days and go over these items and try to resolve them in a timely fashion.
• One year Builder’s Warranty -We want you to write down any items you find over the course of that first year and at about the 11-month mark, we will meet with you and address all of your issues. Once again, this is your home and we want you to be happy and satisfied with it.
